IHS TransPort Data Solutions Sponsors Award at International Aviation Safety Seminar (IASS)
Aviation Database Publisher Invited to be One of Only Nine Exhibitors at 51st Annual Seminar
Englewood, Colorado -November 4, 1998- Regulatory aviation database publisher IHS TransPort Data Solutions, an IHS Group company, announced today it is sponsoring the 1998 Cecil A. Brownlow Publication Award, to be presented at the 51st annual International Aviation Safety Seminar (IASS) Nov. 16-18, 1998, in Cape Town, South Africa. IHS TransPort Data Solutions is in its third year of sponsoring the award, given for outstanding achievement in furthering aviation safety through the reporting and dissemination of safety information within the aviation community.
"As a provider of regulations and other relevant data to the aviation industry, we strongly support recognizing outstanding work in delivering aviation safety information," said Tony Martinez, general manager of IHS TransPort Data Solutions. This year's award will be presented to Dr. Stanley R. Mohler, director of Aerospace Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine.
IHS TransPort Data Solutions is one of only nine exhibitors invited to the IASS, which is sponsored by the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), the International Federation of Airworthiness (IFA), and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The IASS brings together hundreds of aviation specialists from around the world to discuss pressing issues in aviation safety.
